What do you do and why do you do it?
I'm web editor in chief, print issue editor and social media manager at WAD Magazine in Paris. Besides, I own a blog - ilovemalebitch.com - and an Instagram account @malebitch
I've always had a peculiar vision of style, and I'm so glad I can share it today through these different medias. It's a real passion to mix clothes, photos, creative direction and writing at the same time.
How has living up in Paris impacted your style?
Living in a big city gives you more freedom and boosts your boldness. Plus, as soon as I've arrived in Paris, I've been working and evolving in the world of fashion, always discovering new brands, new stylish persons, new ways of thinking my lifestyle. It's a constant renewal, pushing you further.
What excites you about Paris?
This city is a village. You can go buy your vegs and bread next door, buy your croissant on the morning in the same boulangerie everyday, you know those people, and they know you, you can have a real neighboorhood life, and that's actually precious.
What would you recommend for a Paris first timer?
Get lost around the Canal Saint Martin and make your belly happy at HolyBelly.
Barbara wears: Scribble Print Shorts
What advice would you give your younger self?
Don't think too much, be confident in your value and you'll keep moving further. And I should listen right now to my future older self, I can hear her whispering it all over again!
